Lately I’ve been more fond of those “medieval fantasy-like” themes from RPGs, and that’s really surprising! Usually I would relate more to stories in a city/town-theme, like JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure or even the Mother series, but developing and playing more medieval-fantasy themed games made me grow more fond of it
Aside of Jojo, I think that Castlevania also made me less negative towards the theme, I’ve been playing a lot of Aria of Sorrow and Symphony of the Night (great games by the way), and they’re a prime of example of how medieval-fantasy themes can go insanely hard
Castlevania also is a really book-heavy inspired franchise, that makes me want to expand my experiences with literature (also my vocabulary and English in general by proxy). There’s a book called “Legends & Latte” that I’ve been meaning to read for a while, may be the time will come sooner than I expected
I think that I used to see those themes as strictly-related to “nerdy business”, and it really isn’t the case, that’s such a stupid thing to even ponder about looking back at it
That being said, I would really like to engage in some RPG activities with my friends, but they’re usually really busy, like, really busy... Well, what can you do? Solo D&D?.. Actually, we'll see about that

Play Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow!
